Why do we need a union?
When company leadership makes decisions that impact employees, we deserve a seat at the table and to be involved in talking through the options. Recent changes in company culture have shown that there is a disconnect between leadership and employees, with employees not feeling listened to. When this becomes the norm, one of the best tools we have is Collective Bargaining.
Many DTNA employees at manufacturing plants are already represented by unions, but office employees have NO representation. When we unite as one team our voices will be heard at DTNA.
Clicking the button below is not a commitment to join, we are only asking if you're interested in finding out more and exploring the Union process. You won't need to make a decision about joining until much later in the process. Click the button below to let us know you're interested!
Next steps
In order to establish a union and begin the process of collective bargaining, we need to prove that a majority of employees at DTNA are interested in being represented collectively. In order to show that we need employees to fill our a form stating their interest in being represented. This is called a "Union Authorization Card" and is the first step in the process.
Once enough interest has been shown, DTNA has the option to voluntarily recognize our union. If they do not, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) gets involved and conducts a vote. If enough people support forming a union, DTNA has no choice but to engage in the collective bargaining process.
Click the button above to show that you're interested in being involved, and we can take this movement to the next level!
We need you
In order to be successful we need YOU! We need as many employees as possible to declare their interest in being part of collective bargaining. We encourage you to fill out the form at the link above to state your interest in becoming part of a union. You'll have an opportunity for a final vote at the end of the bargaining process, but before we can get there we need you to show you're interested.
